Best Italy presents : the official remastered limited edition of one of the most sought after italo-disco jam from 1983! A one-off studio project featuring Belen Thomas on the vocals. This one became huge in the early chicago house movement and represents an early example of use of the classic Roland TB-303 Bassline!
This 2019 release offers for the first time the unreleased dub version of Melody plus the original versions.

‘In Too Deep’ is the third single to have been released from Dead Or Alive’s 1985 CBS Records album, “Youthquake”. • To give it more impact at radio, the single was given a twist with a new remix. • This Limited Edition 7” vinyl picture disc continues the 40th anniversary celebrations of this album. • ‘In Too Deep’ entered the UK Singles chart on 29th June 1985 and became the second Top 20 hit from “Youthquake”, reaching #14 with a nine-week chart run. • ‘In Too Deep’ was released in several territories and charted in Australia, Finland, Germany and Ireland.

Am 14. Juni 2023 ist DJ Patex nach langer Krankheit gegangen. Wohin, das wissen wir nicht genau. Darüber werden wir uns heute auch nicht einig. Der Autor dieses Textes will jedoch ahnen, dass sie dort – frisch angekommen – erstmal von ihren vorausgegangenen Lieblingshundis überrannt und abgeschleckt wurde. Der Autor mag dieses Bild. Auch weil Patex sich zeitlebens mit Hundis leichter getan hat als mit Menschen. Hunde durften bei ihr alles, was sie vom Menschen getrennt hat: Parolen kläffen, Eigentum heranzerren, egoistisch und unterkomplex sein. Nie hat sie auch nur einem Hund jemals etwas krumm genommen. Der Menschheit begegnete Patex eher mit pessimistischen Sätzen: „An Allem ist zu zweifeln“ ist so eine Feststellung. Oder: „Nur Weil Du Mir Deine Wunden Zeigst Bist Du Noch Lange Nicht Mein Heiland“.
Damit wären wir auch bei der A-Seite der vorliegenden Single. Sie berührt. Ihr Text zeigt in viele Richtungen. Die Coverversion von Mitpudeln enstammt ihrem finalen School-Of-Zuversicht-Album und dokumentiert eine Patex, die an ihrer schweren Krankheit gewachsen ist, statt zu brechen. Auch weil sie sich erlaubt hat, ihre typische Skepsis mit einer Art Camu’schen Akzeptanz zu tauschen. Denn Ablehnung hat in ihrer Situation nicht gegriffen, sie hätte alles viel schlimmer gemacht. Nicht das Nicht-leiden oder gar das Nicht-leiden-wollen besiegt das Leid, sondern dessen voll umfängliche Akzeptanz. Das hat sie einfach genial hingekriegt. Und damit vielleicht das Leben und den Tod gleichzeitig besiegt. Noch besser: Für diese Erkenntnis musste sie nicht einmal ihren Pessimismus über Bord werfen. Denn auf einer Ebene, viel weiter im Vordergrund, handelt das Lied natürlich vom Mitleid, oder besser Mitleiden. Mitleid gerät in Schieflage, wenn wir vergessen, worum es wirklich geht. Empathie verbindet uns mit der Welt, sie erfüllt uns. Sie eignet uns aber allzu schnell das Leid anderer an, ohne dass wir selbst wirklich leiden müssen. Und wenn wir nicht aufpassen, dann macht sie uns selbstgewiss.
An Allem ist zu zweifeln, merkt Euch das. Außer daran, dass uns Patex fehlt. Uns fehlt was sie umtreibt und die Fragen, die sie uns schenkt. Und dass die umwerfende B-Seite, die uns über Hans Nieswandt aus Südkorea erreichte, nur ekstatisch tanzend erklärt werden will — und daran, dass Ihr Euch jetzt diese Single kauft. Paul McCartney’s ‘Young Boy’ is next before ‘Ready To Go’ which gave Republica a Top 20 chart debut, and closing the first LP, Robbie Williams’ ‘Old Before I Die’, which became his second smash as a solo artist.

On May 30, 2025, Pet Shop Boys will reissue their 18-track greatest hits singles collection ‘Discography : The Singles Collection’ on limited blue vinyl, featuring updated 2023 remasters. ‘Discography’ was first released in 1991. The album charted No 3 in the UK album chart and includes ‘West End Girls’, ‘Always on My Mind’, ‘It’s a Sin’, ‘Domino Dancing’ and ‘Suburbia’.

Crash! Boom! Bang! 30-year anniversary celebrated with a unique special edition: a double album in black and white vinyl with 18 tracks and an 8-page booklet.

30 years ago, Roxette released their fifth album "Crash! Boom! Bang!", including a stream of hit singles like "Sleeping In My Car", the title track, "Fireworks", "Run To You" and "Vulnerable". The album would sell more than five million copies and was followed by their second World Tour, which saw them perform for over a million people, including the second performance ever by an international act in China.

“Roxette were among the three most played artists on American radio during 1989, 1990 and 1991, and we were on top of the charts all over the world. “Fading Like A Rose”, a brand new track consisting of elements from six classic Roxette songs leads the way for a physical ROX RMX release. Created by original Roxette producer Clarence Öfwerman together with Roxette bass player Magnus Börjeson, “Fading Like A Rose” is an homage to the Roxette history of hits on the dance floor. Brilliant remixers David Björk and Yaro also made their own interpretation and gave birth to “Fading Like A Rose (Everytime Remix) / Per Gessle. Galantis’ remix of Fading Like A Flower and Alle Farben’s remix of Listen To Your Heart are also featured on this vinyl.

"Worthy re-issue of obscure Trouble in Side, which is a one-off studio project entirely written, sung and arranged by Luigi Della Ragione. "Zulu Rap" represented a surprising alternative to the typical Italo-Disco sound perceived in Naples and around in the early 80s. This little-known production has some interesting arrangements, mostly in the short version, where the drum work out raised below, reminiscent of "Love Hangover" by Diana Ross. Some of this news may pique the curiosity of DJs and collectors and provide enough motivation for the current reissue which faithfully reproduces the three 1984 versions as well as the original noteworthy cover artwork. If that wasn't enough: the B side of the original record had an extra track not listed, with the hand drums on a slower and unrelated "Zulu Rap" drum beat which is around 120 BPM, while the drums of the bonus track is about 113 BPM.
